Signal presents a range of the trio’s improvisational work playing with mood, atmosphere and textures. Signal’s contemporary cross-genre sound combines rhythms and elements from the musician’s varied interests and backgrounds, from classical to indie to experimental improvisation. Signal is the first album by the trio and points to its varied work from composed themes and frameworks through open improvisation.
